Three churches teamed up to host an ecumenical Ash Wednesday worship service this evening. Members of Lockerbie Central, The Intersection, and New Hope Community Church worshipped together. It was probably the best attended Ash Wednesday service held in the Lockerbie Central Church building in a generation.
I hope that our small but emerging and growing communities can continue to find ways to work together in mission, study, and worship. It is a great thing when churches work together and figure out ways to be in community!
