We Americans have spent the last decade scapegoating a lot of different types people for our problems.
Mexicans, illegal immigrants, gays, black people, people on welfare, Muslims, liberals, etc. come to mind. The Republican party since Nixon has almost made it an art form. The only people who haven’t been blamed are rich people.
So now, the rich have royally screwed up. They led us into Iraq, are losing the war in Afghanistan, gave us George W. Bush in the first place, and now, we have the largest financial crisis since the Great Depression.
And who are rich people blaming?
